Prasanna Vithanage's fifth film "Ira Madiyama (August Sun)", which completed a successful run ijn cinemas earlier this year, is now out on DVD. A Torana Music Box release, the DVD comes complete with a full animated menu and a sizeable selection of extras. The movie, starring Peter D'Almeida, Nimmi Harasgama and Namal Jayasinghe, has been acclaimed in the international film festival circuit, receiving many accolades and prizes. Among the DVD features are a Director's Introductiuon, an introduction from co-writer Priyath Liyanage and the film's theatrical trailers and TV promo spots.
