"Ira Madiyama (August Sun)" saw its domestic release across Sri Lanka on 10th February 2005. It opened at Savoy, Wellawatte and 14 other centres islandwide. It ran for 55 days to good critical and commercial response. It still continues to play in selected centres across the country. "Ira Madiyama" will be shown at the Cannes Film Festival's Sri Lanka Day screening on 19th May 2005. |
